Advanced -Level Math Courses

  • Trigonometry (Sometimes offered as a standalone course or within Precalculus)

    • Equivalent to one semester of college calculus

    • Covers limits, derivatives, integrals, Fundamental Theorem of Calculus

  • AP Calculus BC

    • Equivalent to a full year of college calculus

    • Includes all AB topics + parametric equations, polar coordinates, series

  • AP Statistics

    • College-level course in data collection, probability, statistical inference

  • Multivariable Calculus (Offered at some advanced schools or through dual enrollment)

    • Partial derivatives, multiple integrals, vector calculus

  • Linear Algebra (Rare, usually via college or online options)

    • Matrices, vector spaces, linear transformations, eigenvalues

  • Differential Equations (Rare, college-level)

    • Solving first- and second-order differential equations, modeling
